Rules and Regulations of MCAN Lodge

This covers rules from our Deen Al-Islam as guided by Kitab Was-Sunnah.

  1. No member is allowed to bring his/her opposite gender friend except when necessary and with prior approval from the Amir. Discussion must take place within the premises.
  2. No member is allowed to move in underwear around the compound when the opposite gender is present in the house.
  3. All properties belong to MCAN and must not be mishandled deliberately.
  4. MCAN properties must not be taken out of the compound without due permission.
  5. The main entrance should be closed by the last person to move out. Any loss due to negligence will be the person’s responsibility.
  6. All Sundays are for general sanitation. Therefore, all members must participate.
  7. Heated arguments, foul words, and fighting are prohibited and may lead to evacuation from the property.
  8. Payment of ₦1,500 monthly due is compulsory for all members. Refusal to pay leads to eviction.
  9. Attendance at monthly general meetings is compulsory for all members.
  10. All members must attend weekly Ta’alimat (Saturday & Sundays).
  11. All members must attend the five daily prayers in congregation except otherwise permitted.
  12. The general duty of everyone in the house is to follow Al-Kitab Was-Sunnah (Qur’an and Hadith).
  13. All male corps members are not allowed to go to the female section, likewise females unless necessary.
Note: Failure to abide by any of the rules may lead to evacuation from the facility.
